𝗔𝗿𝗲 𝗪𝗲 𝗚𝗼𝗱… 𝗼𝗿 𝗚𝗼𝗱’𝘀 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻?
𝘈 𝘲𝘶𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘢 𝘱𝘩𝘺𝘴𝘪𝘤𝘪𝘴𝘵. 𝘈𝘯 𝘢𝘯𝘴𝘸𝘦𝘳 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘺𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘲𝘶𝘪𝘦𝘵 𝘴𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨.
A dear friend recently shared a deeply thought-provoking video with me – and it sparked one of the most honest conversations I’ve had in a long time.
It asked a bold question:
“𝘼𝙧𝙚 𝙬𝙚 𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙪𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙮 𝙂𝙤𝙙?”
The video (linked below) dives into spirituality, consciousness, and reality through the lens of science. And while some parts resonated… I felt led to share my perspective – shaped by faith, science, and lived experience.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗜 𝗔𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗪𝗶𝘁𝗵:
Absolutely – our perception is limited.
There’s more to reality than we can see, hear, or touch. Animals sense frequencies we can’t. Energy exists beyond our senses.
To me, modern science reveals the edges of something far deeper – a stunning design we’re only beginning to glimpse.
𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗜 𝗦𝗲𝗲 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗗𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗹𝘆:
I don’t believe we are God.
I believe we are created – wonderfully, intentionally, and lovingly – by Him.
We’re not the Author of the story.
We’re the characters He wrote in, for a purpose greater than ourselves.
Just like every invention has a manual, we’ve been given one too:
𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘉𝘪𝘣𝘭𝘦.
You can try to figure out life without it – but you might miss the reason you were made in the first place.

We weren’t created to serve ourselves or chase fleeting happiness.
𝘞𝘦 𝘸𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘦𝘳𝘷𝘦 𝘎𝘰𝘥. 𝘈𝘯𝘥 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘴𝘶𝘳𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳, 𝘸𝘦 𝘥𝘪𝘴𝘤𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭 𝘫𝘰𝘺.
𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗜 𝗦𝗲𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿 – 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗙𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗵𝘆𝘀𝗶𝗰𝘀
Prayer, to me, is a form of both spiritual connection and unseen energy.
When we pray, we focus intention – we send out a frequency. We may not see it, but it moves. It resonates.

Different sounds create different geometric patterns in sand. We can’t see the sound – but its impact is real.
Prayer may work the same way: 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗳𝘂𝗹.
𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘸𝘦 𝘱𝘳𝘢𝘺 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘧𝘢𝘪𝘵𝘩, 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘰𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘣𝘦𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘴.
𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗺 𝗘𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 & 𝗚𝗼𝗱
In quantum physics, two particles once linked remain connected – no matter how far apart.
That’s how I sometimes view prayer.
𝘞𝘦 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘩 𝘵𝘰𝘸𝘢𝘳𝘥 𝘎𝘰𝘥 𝘪𝘯 𝘧𝘢𝘪𝘵𝘩, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘶𝘯𝘴𝘦𝘦𝘯 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘯𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘴 𝘶𝘴. 𝘏𝘦 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘴. 𝘈𝘭𝘸𝘢𝘺𝘴.
Sometimes instantly, sometimes in ways we don’t yet understand. But He hears.
𝗔 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 & 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲
Modern history tells us that humans have only existed for a blink of time – a short chapter in the story of the universe.
And yet, in that brief moment, we’ve created machines that think, robots that serve us, and artificial intelligence modeled in our image.
If we are this capable… 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘪𝘵 𝘣𝘦 𝘣𝘦𝘤𝘢𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘸𝘦 𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘷𝘦𝘴 𝘸𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘮𝘢𝘥𝘦 𝘣𝘺 𝘢 𝘏𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘐𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘪𝘨𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦 – 𝘪𝘯 𝘏𝘪𝘴 𝘪𝘮𝘢𝘨𝘦?
Some say we are just a random result of evolution.
But I see something else: 𝗽𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲, 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.
Because what existed before us – stars, galaxies, even early life forms – couldn’t create us.
But we, in this tiny sliver of time, can design things that mimic our intelligence and serve our needs.
𝘊𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘪𝘵 𝘣𝘦… 𝘸𝘦’𝘳𝘦 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘢𝘯 𝘢𝘤𝘤𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵?
𝘊𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘪𝘵 𝘣𝘦… 𝘸𝘦 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘧𝘦𝘤𝘵 𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯?
Made not to become gods, but to reflect the One who is?
𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗜 𝗗𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝗕𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲 𝗪𝗲’𝗿𝗲 𝗝𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗮 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗥𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗺 𝗘𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻
I don’t believe we were randomly created through evolution alone – especially not that something as intelligent and complex as life came from nothing.
This idea often goes hand-in-hand with the Big Bang theory – that everything exploded out of nothing, and over time, evolved into stars, planets, and eventually us – purely by chance.
𝘉𝘶𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘰𝘳𝘺 𝘳𝘶𝘯𝘴 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘰 𝘢 𝘴𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘰𝘶𝘴 𝘴𝘤𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘧𝘪𝘤 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘣𝘭𝘦𝘮:
𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗟𝗮𝘄 𝗼𝗳 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗼𝗱𝘆𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗰𝘀.
In the simplest terms:
> 𝘌𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘨𝘰 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘰𝘳𝘥𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘰 𝘥𝘪𝘴𝘰𝘳𝘥𝘦𝘳 – 𝘶𝘯𝘭𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘶𝘱𝘰𝘯 𝘣𝘺 𝘢𝘯 𝘰𝘶𝘵𝘴𝘪𝘥𝘦 𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘤𝘦.
Imagine a clean room. If you leave it alone for weeks, does it get cleaner?
No – it becomes messy. That’s entropy. Things fall apart naturally – they don’t organize themselves.
Now apply that to the universe.
Over time, systems lose energy. Order breaks down. Structure decays.
But living beings – like us – are the exact opposite.
Our cells self-repair. DNA stores complex data. Our bodies function like advanced machines – all in an organized, coded structure.
So how did something highly ordered and intelligent come from total chaos… with no designer?
To me, it didn’t.
𝘓𝘪𝘧𝘦 𝘳𝘦𝘧𝘭𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘴 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘰𝘮𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴 – 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘥𝘦𝘴𝘪𝘨𝘯.
𝘕𝘰𝘵 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘰𝘴 – 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯.
𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗦𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝗟𝗼𝗴𝗶𝗰
When I watched the man in that video… I saw brilliance.
But I also saw a soul still searching.
And I’ve been there.
True peace?
It’s not found in ourselves alone.
It’s found in 𝙅𝙚𝙨𝙪𝙨 𝘾𝙝𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙩..
> “𝘛𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘶𝘱 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘤𝘳𝘰𝘴𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘧𝘰𝘭𝘭𝘰𝘸 𝘮𝘦.”
It’s not a call to comfort.
It’s a call to live deeply.
To love sacrificially.
To trust – especially when we don’t understand.
I don’t need to be God.
I just need to know the One who is.
Because I was made by the One who is.
And through Him, I can live fully, love deeply, and find peace that never fades.
𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗮𝘀𝗸:
“𝗗𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗚𝗼𝗱 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗲𝘅𝗶𝘀𝘁?”
This is the best answer I’ve found – the one that changed my life:
𝘼𝙨𝙠 𝙃𝙞𝙢 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙨𝙚𝙡𝙛.
In my career in science, I’ve seen things most can’t explain.
But the most unexplainable thing I’ve experienced is not found in equations –
It’s the still power of prayer.
Not the kind you recite.
But the kind that feels like something heard you…
and something greater moved.
> “𝘐𝘧 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘴𝘦𝘦𝘬 𝘔𝘦 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘵, 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘥 𝘔𝘦.” – Jeremiah 29:13
If He’s real… you’ll know.
In quantum physics, we study entanglement –
Two particles mysteriously connected, even lightyears apart.
But there’s always something people forget:
There are always two ends.
So the question becomes:
What are you truly connected to?
Where is your prayer really going?
I don’t share this as a preacher.
I share it as someone who’s spent a lifetime studying both the seen and the unseen.
For me, I found the real connection came when I turned my heart toward the God I now know is real – 𝙅𝙚𝙨𝙪𝙨.
𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗜’𝗺 𝗣𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝗲𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽𝘀 𝗔𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱
𝘕𝘰𝘵 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘮𝘰𝘵𝘦 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘵𝘺 – 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘰𝘱𝘦𝘯 𝘢 𝘥𝘰𝘰𝘳.
